Drop off your seal-tight compost bin at our produce booth at the Haile Farmer’s Market on Saturdays or the Grove Street market on Mondays. weekly and exchange it for a fresh, cleaned bin. While you’re there pick up some farm-fresh veggies that were grown with the community’s food scraps.
Your scraps are turned into soil that is used at our farm to grow organic produce locally and sold at the farmer’s market back to the community and back on your table. Perfect recycling is achieved locally. Sustainable practices like composting for agriculture are a step in the right direction toward an earth-friendly society.
